An indie band are the first band to create an album on the iPad

The Ultramods who are an indie punk band have just recently released thier album Underwear Party using only the iPad 2 and GarageBand  App. The band composed and recorded everything on the GarageBand iPad app including vocals, lead guitar, bass guitar and drums. GarageBand was released in 2004 and is a simplified audio tool designed to make music creation incredibly easy for anyone without the need for expensive hardware. The GarageBand app includes 8-track recording capability and all the necessary tools to create a song. The Ultramods 12 track album Underwear Party is available in the iTunes Store for $10.
