Plaid and check shirts have been around for a long time now but are still in fashion this year with most brands bringing out their variation of the classic shirt. Since the 70s plaid and check shirts have been worn by mowhawks to the lumberjacks and the rock stars of the 90s.
Plaid and check shirts have been worn throughout the years by everyone and this year and their back again. If you wanted to be a bit different as everyone is wearing the check shirts you can get an individual style by smarting up the look and having the top button done up, this would give it a more formal and indie chic look.
Another change could be to work with larger check patterns on the shirt to keep with the trend but to go for a more different look. Comune Hank Check long sleeve fits the larger check patterns well. For those summer days and nights check out our ambiguous milborne mens plaid check shirt with its contrasting checks and short sleeves. At Urbancove we have a range of check shirts from urban to indie brands like Comune, Seventyseven, Second Son and Ambiguous.
