The Crow remake looks set to go ahead with production starting Autumn

The Crow looks set for a remake after Juan Carlos Fresnadillo who directed 28 Weeks later has been confirmed to direct. The 1994 cult flick was based on a comic book adaption of a rock musician who returns from the dead to take revenge on his and his fiancés killers. The original Crow which had a gothic influence became infamous after the main star played by Brandon Lee was killed on set after a mix up with the firearms. The main lead as Eric Draven looks set to be played by Bradley Cooper who is best known for his part in the Hangover and A-Team. The original Crow had a chart topping soundtrack which included work by the Cure, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails and the Stone Temple Pilots. The Crow is mentioned in Empire’s 2008 list of the 500 greatest movies of all time.
