British prison drama film Screwed starring Noel Clarke released in cinemas

Screwed is a new British gritty drama film about life in prison as it follows an ex soldier who becomes a prison guard played by James D’Arcy.  The story sees D’Archy sink into a downward spiral as he discovers that his fellow officers are more violent and dishonest than the convicts.

The British film is directed by Reg Traviss and also stars actor and director Noel Clarke who plays a menacing kingpin inmate  named Truman, the story is based on true events which was written by ex prison officer Ronnie Thompson.

The film is only available in selected cinemas but looking forward to checking out the film on its release to disc.
