Mann the American hip hop rapper has just released his new track Return of the Mack.  The new hip hop single is a cover version of the original song by by British R&B artist Mark Morrison. The new track by Mann also features hip hop legend Snoop Dogg and Lyaz.

The video premiered on Mann’s Youtube Channel on the 29th of June and will be  availabe on itunes in the US on the 5th of july.

Mann’s debut album Mann’s World will be out on the 25th of July 2011 and looks set to be a bit hit with the great tracks so far released by the 19 year old rapper.

T4 on the Beach is a one day music event held on the beach at Weston-super-Mare. The pop rock one day event consists of big name acts perfoming shorts sets in front of over 40,000 people and is also televised on channel 4. This year will see big name acts include Far East Movement, Jessie J, Hard-Fi, Tinchy Stryder, Olly Murs, Mc Fly, The Saturday, JLS, Sugarbabes and many more.

The one day music event started in 2003 as Pop Beach and was held at Great Yarmouth before changing name and title in 2005. There still seems to be tickets left and has a good selection of big name pop artists all performing on the day.

The Wireless music festival 2011 starts Friday 1st of July to Sunday 3rd of July 2011 in Hyde Park, London. The annual music festival will this year host US pop group Black Eyed Peas which will be headlining on Friday. Dance kings Chemical Brothers will be headlining Saturdays show with the indie rock band Pulp closing the festival on the Sunday. Pulp havnt perfomed at a festival for 10 years but are again playing live in 2011.  

Other big name acts performing on stage will be Plan B, Tinie Tempah, The Streets, Chase & Status, Katy B, Nero, Example and many more. The three day weekend festival began in 2005 and this year has a brilliant selection of big name acts to compliment lesser known indie bands.

Def Leppard the British rock band have just released a new album, Mirror Ball: Live and more which contains a mixture of studio tracks and live recordings. The legendary rock band have been making albums since 1980 and the new album marks their 13 stuido album. Def Leppard is one of only five rock bands that has two studio albums selling over 10 million copies each in America.

The first single from the new album is Undefeated which is a studio track and is available on itunes which marks the bands first track available as a digital download. The new album also features a dvd containing both concert and backstage footage of their Sparkle Lounge Tour during 2008-2009.

The Hard Rock Calling 2011 rock festival was last weekend on the 24th to the 26th of June 2011. This year will see The killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart and many more acts. The annual live rock festival is held in Hyde Park, London and is organised by Hard Rock Cafe and Live Nation.

The Killers will be headling the show on the Friday with rock group Bon Jovi on Saturday with the highly anticipated Sunday headliner Rod Stewart will be closing the festival. This year sees the rock festival celebrating its 40 year anniversary and looks set to be the best year so far with the list of big name artist on display.

No Doubt are set to release a new album this year after more than a decade since their last album Rock Steady in 2001. Since the last album Gwen Stefani has being releasing her own solo albums in 2004 and 2006. No Doubt was formed in 1986 and have released five albums to date.

The indie rock band’s new album was set to be released in 2008 but was delayed due to the birth of Gwen Stefani’s second child. The up coming untitled album was produced by British producer Mike Stent and is set to be released this year.

The US group have won two Grammy Awards and have sold more than 30 million records worldwide. At present the Billboard chart ranks No Doubt as the 89th best artist of the decade.

Frank Ocean has just release his debut EP album, Nostalgia, Ultra. with the single being released in May, Novacane. Frank Ocean is member of the Alternative hip hip group OFWGKTA which is led my rapper and producer Tyler the Creator. The urban album, Nostalgia, Ultra was released on the 26th of June 2011 on the label Def Jam and features ten tracks.

The 23 year old American singer looks set to become a big star and is also working on the Jay-z and Kayne West collaborative album, Watch The Throne.

Armin Van Burren has just release his new dance  single Feels So Good which features the vocal talents of Nadia Ali. The dutch trance DJ has been voted the number one Dj by Dj Magazine for the last four years. The new single was released on the 20th June and is on his 2010 forth studio album Mirage.

We loving the new song from Armin Van Burren with some great vocals from Pakistani American singer-songwriter Nadia Ali. Its a great track for the summer with its laid back beats from the dutch dj and producer.

Rizzle Kicks are a duo of two 18 years old from Brighton, England who mix jazz and soul with urban hip hop in which they rap over. The duo have released an EP, Shun the Non Believer but was released with out a label. The two 18 years old have taken samples from Lily Allen, White Stripes and Arctic Monkeys in which they use their MC talents over the top of, you can find their tracks on You Tube.

Their debut single Down with the Trumpets is something very original in which they use a jazz and indie background with witty lyrics on top to produce something they call “indie hop”.

Eminem has knocked Adele of the album charts after her 17 week reign. The rappers EP album Hell: The Sequel debuted at number one on the US billboard charts. The hip hop album is from the dup group Bad Meets Evil which consits of Eminem Detroit rapper Royce Da Five-Nine. The urban album sold 171,000 copies in its first week and quite suprising give its nature as considered as an “EP,” although it contains 11 songs. We gald to see Eminem reach the top of the charts again which is creative and brilliant musical talent.

50 Cent is best known for his rapping skills but is set to publish a young adults book in 2012. The book is about bullying which the rapper has said that will be based on ”my own childhood and adolescence”. 50 Cent signed a deal with Penguin’s Young Reader Group for a book to be called Playground and has stated the book will be a ”positive influence on all teenagers”. The book is due out  in January and will be the 50 Cent’s debut as a novelist.

The rapper has been criticised for bullying other artists and has had a few high profile beefs with other rappers including Ja Rule, Rick Ross and Fat Joe.

The hip hop artist is also currently working on his fifth studio album which is set to be released this year.

Buju Banton is a Jamaican reggae musician who has been sentance to 10 years in US prision for his part in a cocaine deal. The thirty seven year old who started his music career in 1991 was found guilty of drug conspiracy and firearm charges on February 22nd 2011. He was sentanced to ten years in prison on Thrusday 23rd June 2011 when found guilty of three of the four charges. The charges were intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm and using a telephone to facilitate a drug trafficking offence.

Barton was a major reggae star for two decades but became notorious for homophobic lyrics. In 2007 their were reports that he signed a pledge to stop singing about homophobic but Banton denied any agreement.

The reggae star won a Grammy award for best reggae album for Rasta Got Soul which was released in 2009.

Emeli Sande is a soul and R&B artist from Scotland who is best know as supporting artist for Professor Green, Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk. The female British urban artist is set to release her first debut album and the lead track and debut single is Heaven which was is out Sunday the 14th August 2011.

Sande also worked on Alesha Dixon’s album The Entertainer and Cheryl Cole’s albums, co-wrote the hit single Radio with Shahid Khan and also started working with Devlin after recording the song Dreamer.

We are very much looking forward to this album after two top 10 tracks as guest vocalist with Chipmunk on Diamond Ring and Wiley with Never Be You Woman.

The grime MC Wiley has just releasd his seventh studio album 100% Publishing which was entirely written, produced and mastered in its by Wiley while working of a label. The English rapper started of his career in 1997 and was one of the original founders of the Roll Deep crew. Wiley was credited with the evolution of grime music which took its origins from Uk garage, Drum & Bass and Jungle.

The new album 100% Publishing shows Wiley as the leading frontman in grime with some brilliant tracks. The album was released on the 20th June 2011.

Eklips is a French MC and beatboxer from Paris who started beatboxing in 1990. He is well known throughout the world for is beatboxing talents and also as part of the urban hip hop group Le Remède. Eklips is also know to be able to perfectly mimic artists including Method Man, Xzibit and Busta Rhymes and many more.
