Loving the track Who Dat Girl by hip hop rapper Flo Rida which features Akon. The track came out end of March 2011 in the UK but hit the US charts in January 2011.

The new single is of Flo Rida’s album Only One Flo Part 1 which has a more dance club style. The album will be followed by his up coming album Only One Flo Part 2 which is set to be a more straight forward hip hop album, set to be released this year.

At the moment we loving the album from Flo Rida which is brilliant for those summer days which mixes up tempo R&B with club dance beats. This is one feel good album which has a mixture of styles and should cater from a range of dance fans to R&B lovers.

Kayne West’s protege Big Sean has just released his debut album, Finally Famous which debut at number three on the US Billboard 200 albums charts. The 23 year old has been signed to Def Jam via Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. Sean got his big break through after he went to visit Kayne West who was doing an interview at a radio station. Sean did some freestyling for West and eventually two years later West signed him up to his G.O.O.D. Music record label.

This is one hip hop artist to watch as he looks to become a mega star in such a short space of time. Check out the track below for his second single of the new album entitled ”Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay” which features Kanye West and Roscoe Dash. The new single is out on the 12th of July 2011.

This is a brilliant track from DJ Felli Fel called Boomerang and features hip hop stars Pitbull , Akon and Jermaine Dupri. Dj Felli Fel is best known as a dj for LA Power 106 radio, record producer and has now gone to become a recording artist which he is signed up to So So Def/Island Urban Music.

The DJ has produced records for Outlawz, Tyrese, Luniz and R Kelly and has also had song featured in the film Malibu’s Most Wanted and in the soundtrack of the game Midnight Club Los Angeles.

The new track Boomerang is the forth single from his up coming debut album entield Go DJ which is set to be released this year. His debut album looks set to be a huge hit and we cant wait to hear it later in the year.

Little Bad Girl is the new single from French DJ and producer David Guetta. The new song is the second single from his up coming fifth studio album, Nothing But the Beat. The new track Little Bad Girl features hip hop rapper Ludacris and RnB singer Taio Cruz.

The new song was released on June the 27th worldwide and is another brilliant track to add to Guetta’s list. The new song mixes Guetta house beats with the urban hip hop and rnb vocals from Ludacris and Cruz. Listening to this song we cant wait for the up coming album from Dj dance king which set to be released this year.

 The French Dj and Producer, David Guetta has just released his new single Where Them Girls At. The new track features hip hop rappers Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. The new single is from David Guetta’s up coming album entitled Nothing But the Beat which is set to be released in September 2011. The song peaked on the Uk dance chart at number one  and debuted at number three on the UK Singles Chart, marking Guetta twelfth top twenty hit.

The new track combines eurodance with r&b with a great music video to accompany the summer tune.

Mann the American hip hop rapper has just released his new track Return of the Mack.  The new hip hop single is a cover version of the original song by by British R&B artist Mark Morrison. The new track by Mann also features hip hop legend Snoop Dogg and Lyaz.

The video premiered on Mann’s Youtube Channel on the 29th of June and will be  availabe on itunes in the US on the 5th of july.

Mann’s debut album Mann’s World will be out on the 25th of July 2011 and looks set to be a bit hit with the great tracks so far released by the 19 year old rapper.

Frank Ocean has just release his debut EP album, Nostalgia, Ultra. with the single being released in May, Novacane. Frank Ocean is member of the Alternative hip hip group OFWGKTA which is led my rapper and producer Tyler the Creator. The urban album, Nostalgia, Ultra was released on the 26th of June 2011 on the label Def Jam and features ten tracks.

The 23 year old American singer looks set to become a big star and is also working on the Jay-z and Kayne West collaborative album, Watch The Throne.

Cher Lloyd the 17 year old from Britain’s X Factor has revealed that she wants to start her own fashion label specialising in hip hop clothing. The singer has recently started her music career and is at present recording her debut album in LA with Lady Gaga producer`s RedOne.  Lloyd has expressed her desire at becoming a fashion designer and has stated “I want to create a range, hip-hop style, creative, out-there – but very affordable.”

After the X factor final Cher was signed by Syco Music which is owned by Simon Cowel and her debut album has been confirmed to be released on 12th September 2011. Her debut single is called “Swagger Jagger”, and was first heard on 20th June, the singer has also been confirmed to play at T4 on the Beach.

Eminem has knocked Adele of the album charts after her 17 week reign. The rappers EP album Hell: The Sequel debuted at number one on the US billboard charts. The hip hop album is from the dup group Bad Meets Evil which consits of Eminem Detroit rapper Royce Da Five-Nine. The urban album sold 171,000 copies in its first week and quite suprising give its nature as considered as an “EP,” although it contains 11 songs. We gald to see Eminem reach the top of the charts again which is creative and brilliant musical talent.

50 Cent is best known for his rapping skills but is set to publish a young adults book in 2012. The book is about bullying which the rapper has said that will be based on ”my own childhood and adolescence”. 50 Cent signed a deal with Penguin’s Young Reader Group for a book to be called Playground and has stated the book will be a ”positive influence on all teenagers”. The book is due out  in January and will be the 50 Cent’s debut as a novelist.

The rapper has been criticised for bullying other artists and has had a few high profile beefs with other rappers including Ja Rule, Rick Ross and Fat Joe.

The hip hop artist is also currently working on his fifth studio album which is set to be released this year.

Eklips is a French MC and beatboxer from Paris who started beatboxing in 1990. He is well known throughout the world for is beatboxing talents and also as part of the urban hip hop group Le Remède. Eklips is also know to be able to perfectly mimic artists including Method Man, Xzibit and Busta Rhymes and many more.

Check out the beatboxing video below which shows Eklips perfoming his way through a history of the greatest urban hip hop hits. This four minute video is an amazing peice of talent which truly shows the skills of this very talented artist.

Not sure where we have been as only just heard this song from three of the biggest names in the music industry. The track C’mon pits  the dance DJs Tiesto vs Diplo and features hip hop rapper Busta Rhymes who produces the energetic vocals. The track is featured on Tiesto mix compilation album which came out this year entitled Club Life Volume One Las Vegas. The album was promoted with the Dutch electronic DJ touring gloablly with a live set show under the same name.

Check out the brilliant dance track which combines with the quick lyrical vocals of Busta Rhymes making this is a great club tune.

Bass Down Low is a pretty good song with a catchy bass line and great vocals from Dev, the track features and was produced by The Cataracs. The song has recently been remixed by Tinie Tempah which has contributed to most of the UK sales for the song.

The Cataracs are electro hip hop duo who also produced hit song Like a G6 and the new track from New Boyz called Backseat which also features Dev.

The Cataracs, Dev and Tinie Tempah have got up coming albums this year and we cant wait to check them out with their blends of hip hop and electro dance which has marked the genre as electro hop or hip house.

Street dance group Diversity have just announced they will be touring in 2012 during March and April with a brand new show which will be their biggest UK tour to date. Since wining Britains got talent in 2009 they have perfromed  in front of the Queen and the Prime Minister and have also gone on to star in a smash hit film Street Dance 3D. The Britains Got Talent 2009 winners toured in 2010 with two UK tours which sold out with their show Diversitoy’s: Bringing A Toy Story To Life.

After seeing their tour live last year we were very impressed with the dancing and the collaborations with other brilliant acts that were also on the show. We hoping next years tour will just as a stunning and well put together as last years.

The group also performed on this years Britains Got Talents and were joined by urban boy band JLS.

Fast East Movement the electro hip hop group have just released the music video to their new track So What?. The hip hop 4 piece group are based in California which formed in 2003, they rose to fame after their single Round Round was featured in the film Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

The new single looks set to be another summer hit after last year’s succesful hit Like a G6 which reached double platinum status.

The track So What? is on their album, Free Wired which was released in October 2010 which fuses electro dance pop with urban hip hop.
