Getting that indie rock look is all the rage at the moment and can be easily done. We recommend pairing up some blue denim skinny jeans with some dark brown boots with a graphic t-shirt. Any colour jeans will work and you can choose from a range of different colours and shades of boots. At present suede boots are a good choice but remember to get protector and a good cleaner to keep those boots in pristine condition.

For the top half we would choose a large print graphic t-shirt that was bold and classy. At Urban Cove we have a range of different styles of graphic t-shirts from indie and rock brands. For a more rock style check out Dead Cities, Better Off Dead and False. If you want the indie look then Ivory Skies, Das Monk and Comune have some brilliant graphic designs that really stand out.

This style can even be worn on a night out and can be smarten up further with a fitted dark cardigan to really pull of a smart look with a cool laid back style.

This is a real winner and can even be a style worn by women as well for that rock chick look. Check out UrbanCove for more indie rock clothing.

No More Idols is the second album from electro duo Chase and Status and mixes together different genres to produce more of a compliation album. With artists including Dizzy Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Tempa T and Plan B to add rap vocals to the soul sounds of Mali and Cee-Lo Green. There is also collaboration with indie rock band White Lies and pop singer Clare Maguire which all make sure the album has a range of tracks which all display different vocal genres.

This is one brilliant album that fuses so many different vocal talents with the drum and bass and dubstep sound Chase and Status have been known for. This could well be one of the albums of the year.

The Twang have released a new EP album entitled Guapa which has 4 tracks on. This is the indie rock bands 3rd album after ‘Jewellery Quarter‘ released in 2009 and their gold selling debut 1997 album ‘Love it when i feel like this’. The Birmingham band was formed in 2001 and have had their songs used on various TV programes including Katie Price: What Happened Next, Match of the Day, ITV football shows and various BBC programmes.

The new album has gone with a different sound and sees bass player Jon Watkin take vocal duites for the first time on tracks ‘Guapa’ and ‘February Snow’. Phil Etheridge and Martin Saunders the two frontmen take back the singing duties for ‘Subsciption’ and ‘Woah Man’. With the new EP out we are hoping that this sees the band release a full album soon which we cant wait!
