The former Libertines frontman Pete Doherty is to collaborate on men’s and women’s wear collections with French brand, The Kooples. The collection will feature some of Doherty`s own artwork from which his drawings will be printed on both men and womens limited edition t shirts.

Glamour Kills is a rock and roll inspired clothing company based in Wappingers Falls, New York. The brand was started in 2005 by Mark Capicotto and the label is known for combining a rock n’ roll edge with a chic modernism. When Mark Capicotto first started up he set up a shop in his parents New York basement where he made five t-shirts, the first shirt being  the Glamour Kills’ signature ‘When Pigs Fly’. This phrase meant that anything can happen, and that became the basis on what the company was built around. The english Rock band, Pink Floyd are going to release previously unheard tracks after legal disputes between the group and their label EMI have been resolved. They will be releasing live demos as well as a enhanced versions of albums The Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall. All 14 of their studio albums will be re-released under the name “Why Pink Floyd…?” from September. The Dark side of the Moon will be available in a 6 disc box set, Wish You Were Here will be available on five discs and The Wall will be available in a seven-disc set and they are also releasing a Best Of collection album. Pink Floyd are one of the most commercially successful and influential Rock music groups of all time and have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the UK Music Hall of Fame and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame.

AC/DC Live at River Plate follows AC/DC’s massive Black Ice World Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina in December 2009. The Black Ice tour DVD/CD set will be released on May 10, 2011 with the first two singles from the new live album being “Shoot to Thrill” and “War Machine”. AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on 10 March 2003 in which they performed “Highway to Hell” and “You Shook Me All Night Long” as part of the ceremony. The Australian Rock band was formed in 1973 and are considered one of the top rock bands of all time. As of 2010 they have sold more than 200 million albums worldwide and are the fifth best selling artist in the world.

The Foo Fighters recently released their seventh studio album, Wasting Light and its back to their best after four years without releasing a song. The rock album was recorded onto analog tape in the garage of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Dave Grohl. The former Nirvana`s drummer teamed up with Nevermind’s Butch Vig to produce an album that brings it back to a louder and more raw rock and roll sound which has been hailed as their best album since 1997 `The Colour And The Shape’. There are some brilliant songs on the album and our favourites include Rope, White Limo, Bridge Burning and Back and Fourth. This could well be the rock album of 2011.
