The former Libertines frontman Pete Doherty is to collaborate on men’s and women’s wear collections with French brand, The Kooples. The collection will feature some of Doherty`s own artwork from which his drawings will be printed on both men and womens limited edition t shirts.

The Kooples are renowned for their luxury rock and roll inspired fashion with a british edge. The brand was founded by three French brothers – Alexander, Laurent and Raphael Elicha who were also the brainchild for French label Comptoir des Cottoniers.

Just as striking is The Kooples marketing strategy where they featured a number of stylish real-life couples on london buses and taxis. The label’s eye catching campaign highlights the contemporary look of the collection that aims to attract customers seeking that tailored elegance with a rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.
