These limited edition graphic t-shirts have been designed by Ardentees and highly acclaimed photographer Gonzalo Bènard. The debut collaboration between Ardentees and Gonzalo Bènard sees them create four exclusive t-shirts which feature pho­tographs by Gon­zalo Bènard. The collections of four unique graphic tees are limited to 100 pieces worldwide. Each exclusive shirt comes with its own individually numbered woven tag sewn on and an indi­vid­u­ally num­bered hang tag.

The designs for the t-shirts come from highly acclaimed Lisbon-based photographer Gonzalo Bènard who explores the power and influence of memory in his work. Living and working in Spain, Portuguese born artist Gonzalo Bènard lets his expres­sions and creativity flow by ignoring dis­trac­tions like col­ors, back­grounds and cloth­ing and instead he plays with light, emo­tions and peo­ple. As a child Gonzalo Bènard would nap in front of Hieronymous Bosch paintings through the years spent living and studying at a Tibetan monastery-school, from this he uses his personal experience to create highly imaginative work. Gonzalo Bènard’s work can be found in both public and private collections worldwide, and his growing reputation has led to several high profile commissions.

These limited edition t-shirts will soon be available at Urban Cove the streetwear and urban clothing store.

Indie streetwear clothing brand Joystick Junkies was featured on Channel 4′s Tv show Dirty Sexy Things. The clothing brand hosted a fashion show at a London members club for press and buyers in March 2011 for thier new summer collection. The Channel 4 Tv show covered the event as they followed one of the girl models named Ocean who was a cast for the fashion show.

After Ed Sheeran debut single the A-Team managed to be highest selling and highest charting debut single of 2011, he is set to release his 2nd single You Need Me.

The new single will be available on Sheeran’s up comign debut album entitled + which is out September 2011. The British singer also released a self  released EP Album earlier this year, No.5 Collaborations Project. The EP album features urban grime artist Devlin, Wiley, JME and Ghetts.  The album sold over 7,000 copies in its first week and Sheeran gained mainstream attention for reaching number 1 in the iTunes chart without any promotion or label.

After hearing this song we reckon this could be another big hit with its brilliant lyrics. Check out the official video for the massive track the A-Team.

Little Bad Girl is the new single from French DJ and producer David Guetta. The new song is the second single from his up coming fifth studio album, Nothing But the Beat. The new track Little Bad Girl features hip hop rapper Ludacris and RnB singer Taio Cruz.

The new song was released on June the 27th worldwide and is another brilliant track to add to Guetta’s list. The new song mixes Guetta house beats with the urban hip hop and rnb vocals from Ludacris and Cruz. Listening to this song we cant wait for the up coming album from Dj dance king which set to be released this year.

Frank Ocean has just release his debut EP album, Nostalgia, Ultra. with the single being released in May, Novacane. Frank Ocean is member of the Alternative hip hip group OFWGKTA which is led my rapper and producer Tyler the Creator. The urban album, Nostalgia, Ultra was released on the 26th of June 2011 on the label Def Jam and features ten tracks.

The 23 year old American singer looks set to become a big star and is also working on the Jay-z and Kayne West collaborative album, Watch The Throne.

Rizzle Kicks are a duo of two 18 years old from Brighton, England who mix jazz and soul with urban hip hop in which they rap over. The duo have released an EP, Shun the Non Believer but was released with out a label. The two 18 years old have taken samples from Lily Allen, White Stripes and Arctic Monkeys in which they use their MC talents over the top of, you can find their tracks on You Tube.

Their debut single Down with the Trumpets is something very original in which they use a jazz and indie background with witty lyrics on top to produce something they call “indie hop”.

Eminem has knocked Adele of the album charts after her 17 week reign. The rappers EP album Hell: The Sequel debuted at number one on the US billboard charts. The hip hop album is from the dup group Bad Meets Evil which consits of Eminem Detroit rapper Royce Da Five-Nine. The urban album sold 171,000 copies in its first week and quite suprising give its nature as considered as an “EP,” although it contains 11 songs. We gald to see Eminem reach the top of the charts again which is creative and brilliant musical talent.

Emeli Sande is a soul and R&B artist from Scotland who is best know as supporting artist for Professor Green, Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk. The female British urban artist is set to release her first debut album and the lead track and debut single is Heaven which was is out Sunday the 14th August 2011.

Sande also worked on Alesha Dixon’s album The Entertainer and Cheryl Cole’s albums, co-wrote the hit single Radio with Shahid Khan and also started working with Devlin after recording the song Dreamer.

We are very much looking forward to this album after two top 10 tracks as guest vocalist with Chipmunk on Diamond Ring and Wiley with Never Be You Woman.

Eklips is a French MC and beatboxer from Paris who started beatboxing in 1990. He is well known throughout the world for is beatboxing talents and also as part of the urban hip hop group Le Remède. Eklips is also know to be able to perfectly mimic artists including Method Man, Xzibit and Busta Rhymes and many more.

Check out the beatboxing video below which shows Eklips perfoming his way through a history of the greatest urban hip hop hits. This four minute video is an amazing peice of talent which truly shows the skills of this very talented artist.

The 41 year old huge music festival gets underway tomorrow with some fans heading their today to start the party early. This year Glastonbury sees Beyonce, U2, Coldplay and Wu Tang clan all performing, its a diverse mixture of talents this year which will appeal to more fans. From the UK urban sound comes Example, Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Jessie J and Kesha which is a great display of talents.

According to the weather it looks set to be a mix bag with rain and a bit of a heat wave predicted later in the week with Sunday looking to be hot and dry.

Glastonbury is a brilliant festival and throughly enjoyed going in 2009 and hopefully the festival has another successful year.

The two biggest urban names in the music industry set to release a collaboration album this summer. Watch The Throne is the album title by Kayne West and Jay-Z and looks set to be a full LP album.

The hip hop duo first song from the album is H.A.M which got released in January. The album was produced by Young Guru and looks set to feature Beyonce and Bruno Mars. As of yet their is not much more information on the up coming album and no release date has been officially announced.

We hoping if these two get it right this could well be the album of the summer with the combination of their talents working together.

At Urban Cove we are loving the new single from American rapper Wiz Khalifa, Roll Up. The new track is the second single from his 2011 debut studio album Rolling Papers which was released in March. 

Urban artist Wiz Khalifa track Black and Yellow twas the highest selling hip hop single of 2010 which sold over two million digital downloads. He has also recently released his third single entitled On My Level which reatures rapper Too Short, the single was released in May 2011.

It seems as if everyone is getting in on the dubstep revolution from urban popstar Beyonce to hip hop rapper Snoop Dogg and now metal rockers Korn are set to release a dubstep album. The new studio album is set to be released this year and is a collaboration with six or seven dubstep producers.

The first song that was released is Get Up which was produced by Los Angeles DJ Skrillex and was released online last month and played at Download festival. The new track can be downloaded for free on the bands website as part of a teaser for the up coming dubstep driven album.

Electronic dance super duo Chase & Staus have just released the video to their new single Hitz features urban superstar Tinie Tempah which is set to be available to buy on the 17th July 2011.

The new urban track is from their album No More Idols which has already had three singles recieve UK chart success and we think this track is set to be another big hit for the British duo. The song fuses together brilliant beats with the supreme vocal talents of Tinie Tempah making it A class. This is one of our favourites from the album which pits together the two biggest names in UK urban music at the moment.
